The historic center of Arrasate is a medieval urban area that preserves the layout of the old walled town. Founded in the 13th century, it was surrounded by an oval wall with five gates, of which three remain today: Portal Olarte, Zurgin Kantoia, and Kontzezino. Its cobbled streets, organized around main axes, feature historic buildings such as the Church of San Juan Bautista and old palaces, offering a route full of history and traditional Basque architecture.
