The Gudino Mill (Molino de Gudino), located on the banks of the Tormes River in the town of Villamayor (Salamanca), is a historic 18th-century watermill that is part of the popular "Route of the Mills." In its heyday, this building was a key piece for milling grain, helping to supply flour to the city of Salamanca and its surrounding villages. Over time, the building left behind its traditional milling function to be transformed into a water pumping station. Today, its surroundings stand out for their great heritage and natural value, being located very close to the modern Science Park of the University of Salamanca. Furthermore, the place holds an aura of mystery and antiquity, since, according to some local historians, the ancient Visigothic settlement of Valgoda may have been located on this exact site.
